SummerFest brings boardwalk entertainment to Barefoot Landing nightly at 7 pm. SummerFest entertainers include clowns, magicians, stilt walkers and much, much more. Nick Pike, a multi-talented unicyclist, juggler and comedian from season 5 of America's Got Talent will be a featured entertainer. Surfside Beach's Sunday Serenades will be held from 2 pm until 5 pm in the gazebo at Passive Park. The Coca-Cola Summer Nights free entertainment series returns to Broadway at the Beach for yet another year of fun at the beach. During Coca-Cola Summer Nights you'll find strolling entertainers, living statues and free face painting in the center court. On Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday evenings Whacker Barrel, a three-man, Hillbilly, street percussion show brings their action packed, family-friendly entertainment to Broadway. On Sunday, Monday and Wednesday nights Bryan Dangerous performs two interactive comedy juggling shows at 7 pm and 9 pm. On Tuesday and Friday nights, music man Mr. Nigel returns with his interactive show that will have you clapping your hands and singing along. On Tuesday and Thursday nights, singer songwriter Maddie Hunt will be performing shows on the Hero's Harbor Stage at 7 pm and 8 pm. 18th Annual Corvettes at Myrtle Beach Car Show - June 2
Bring the entire family, have fun and help support the American Red Cross. From 10 am until 8pm, Holes for Heros at Gilligan's Island Funland Golf features all day miniature golf, face painting, a balloon artist plus food and drinks. 100% of revenues go to our Local Chapter of the American Red Cross. Music in the Streets comes to The Market Common on Wednesday nights throughout the summer (June-August). The event features live music in the gazebos plus face painting for the kids. You can also enjoy fabulous dining and shopping at The Market Commons restaurants and shops.

Wheels of Destruction - June 4 & 18
Wheels of Destruction featuring Chris Morena is a spectacular live event with death defying stunts, free-style motocross, racing and monster trucks. Wheels of Destruction comes to the Myrtle Beach Speedway every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month beginning May 14th. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for kids.

Broadway at the Beach Fireworks - June 4, 11, 18, 21, 25 & 28
Looking for Myrtle Beach fireworks shows? Broadway at the Beach is the site of fireworks displays year-round, but in the summer things really heat up! Broadway at the Beach's Summer Fireworks Extravaganzas feature amazing professional pyrotechnics displays over Lake Broadway every Tuesday from June through August and on Friday nights from June 20th through August 15th. North Myrtle Beach's Music on Main - June 5, 12, 19 & 26
North Myrtle Beach is known as the birthplace of Carolina Beach music and for a few months each summer Main Street comes alive with a wide variety of live, musical performances. Music on Main is a great place to bring the entire family for a fun-filled evening of music, dancing, shopping and dining. Bring a chair, kick back and enjoy performances by exciting bands including the Fantastic Shakers, Tastes Like Chicken (a rock/jazz band from Florence, SC) and The Deluge Band (a bluesy rock band from Greensboro, NC). Looking for an inexpensive night out for the family? How about FREE movies? This summer The Market Common hosts Movies Under the Stars every Friday night at 9 pm (June, July & August). Movies are shown on a huge, inflatable screen in Valor Park on Farrow Parkway. Concessions will be available for purchase. Don't forget to bring a blanket or chairs (and just in case bring bug spray). Movies are subject to change.

Fiddler on the Green Golf Classic - June 7
July 24–26, 2014

Get your golf clubs out and get your game ready for the Fiddler on the Green Golf Classic. The Golf Classic, put on by the Long Bay Symphony, is a fund-raising event to support the Long Bay Symphony Orchestra and Youth Orchestra Scholarship Programs. The 18 Hole Scramble (Captain's Choice) tournament kicks off at the Myrtle Beach National Golf Club's South Course with an 8:30 am shotgun start. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. There will also be a breakfast and awards luncheon. CruiseOne is sponsoring a Hole in One $5,000 Cruise Ship Package. Art Festival - June 7-8
Brookgreen Gardens will host a two-day Art Festival within the backdrop of the beautiful sculpture garden. The festival includes a juried show featuring more than 50 artists from around the country. Artists will be exhibiting and selling their works (some limited editions). Come out to meet the artists, watch demonstrations (glass blowing, pottery throwing & hand loom weaving) and learn how much of the works are created. The Art Festival is free with garden admission. Coastal Classic Volleyball Championships - June 7-8
The Coastal Classic Volleyball Championships is an AAU Super-Regional tournament that will bring 2 days of exciting volleyball competition to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. The tournament will feature 128 teams competing on 32 courts. The competition will have a morning and afternoon wave format beginning at 8 am and 2 pm respectively. Pool play begins on Saturday and the elimination playoff will be held on Sunday. Spectator tickets are $7 per day or $15 for both days. Kids 6 and under are admitted free. Crossway Food Bank Charity 3D Archery Tournament - June 7
Crossways Church of Loris is joining with the Sandune Archery to host a charity 3D Archery Tournament to help fund the Crossway Food Bank. The tournament is an exciting competition with three dimensional targets (deer, bear, turkey, etc.). Targets are sectioned off into areas with different point values. Participants are divided up and compete in categories depending on their age and skill level as well as the style of bow and extra equipment variations used. 2 Live Beyond Celebrity Golf Tournament - June 13-14
Founded by MLB player Reggie Sanders and NFL player Andre Davis, the 1st Annual 2 Live Beyond Celebrity Golf Tournament will be held at the Grande Dunes Resort. The tournament provides the opportunity for you to partner with some of the great players from the NFL and MLB for 18 holes of golf. Registration includes breakfast, awards and a BBQ lunch. Registration will be held on Friday 1 pm until 4 pm and will be followed by a pairings party with silent auction and an exciting concert at the House of Blues. Youth Baseball Nationals - June 13-19, June 20-26 & June 27 thru July 3
The nation's premier youth baseball travel tournament, the Youth Baseball Nationals are week-long tournaments featuring 9U-15U baseball teams. Each week, the tournament features 16-18 teams in each age division. Each team plays from 6 to 10 games. Pool play begins on Saturday morning and runs through Tuesday night. The elimination round begins on Wednesday with 1st round, 2nd round and quarter-final games. Semi-finals and all-star games for each age group will be played on Thursday followed by the championship games on Thursday night. Wheeler Memorial Golf Tournament - June 14
The 13th Annual Wheeler Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at Arrowhead Country Club. The Wheeler Memorial Golf Tournament is a charity event to benefit the Mercy Care Hospice's children's grief counseling program. The tournament format is 4 person captain's choice with no handicap needed. The cost is $375 per team or $100 per person and includes greens and cart fees, breakfast, lunch, a Martin's PGA Tour Superstore gift card and prizes. Second Annual Native Sons Salt Games - June 14-15
A free, family-friendly, all day event, the Native Sons Salt Games will be held on the old Pavilion site in downtown Myrtle Beach. The event features the lifeguard games where lifeguards from six Grand Strand beach services battle each other in a relay race and one-on-one drills. In addition to the lifeguard games, the event features a myriad of fun-filled activities. The day kicks off with a yoga sit on the boardwalk in Plyler Park. Monday Night Lights on the MarshWalk - June 16 & 23
Starting on June 16th, Monday Night Lights on the MarshWalk returns to Murrells Inlet for the summer. The spectacular fireworks display from a barge just east of Veterans Pier begins at 9 pm. The show is promoted by seven popular creekside restaurants: Bovine's, Creek Ratz, Capt. Dave's Dockside, Dead Dog Saloon, Drunken Jack's, Wahoo's Fish House and Wicked Tuna.

Sounds of Summer Concert Series - June 20
Visit the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex for an evening of great rock and blues music with Lowcountry Soul. The free concert begins at 7 pm in the new North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex located at 150 Citizens Circle, Little River, South Carolina 29566. The Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild holds six Art in the Park shows throughout the year in Chapin Park and Valor Park to give artists an opportunity to display and sell their work. PGA Professional National Championship - June 22-25
The 47th Annual PGA Professional National Championship, presented by Club Car, Mercedes-Benz and OMEGA, returns to Myrtle Beach, SC. The 72-hole tournament features a field with 312 PGA pros competing for the Walter Hagen Cup. The 1st two rounds will be played at the Dunes Golf & Beach Club and the Grande Dunes Resort Club, with the final 36 holes being played exclusively at the Dunes Golf & Beach Club. Also, the top 20 finishers will receive an invitation to compete in the 2014 PGA Championship. More info.

The Great Race - June 27
The Great Race 2014 will be making a stop at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Since its inception in 1983, The Great Race has become the premier old car rally in the world. This year's race begins on June 21st in Ogunquit, Maine and travels down the Eastern Seaboard to finish in The Villages, Florida on June 29th. The Great Race is not a speed race, but rather it's a time/speed/distance rally. Each vehicle's driver and navigator are given precise instructions every day that detail their movements to the second. Teams are scored at secret check points along the way and are then penalized one second for each second they are off schedule. Participants will arrive in one minute intervals beginning at 11:30 am and continuing for more than 1 1/2 hours.

Italian Festival by the Sons of Italy - June 28-29
Sponsored the Sons of Italy, the Festa Italiana at The Market Common is a 2-day event with amazing, Italian food, pastries & desserts, beer & wine, arts & crafts, continuous live entertainment, a pasta eating contest hosted by Villa Romana and much more. Emcee, Larry Tanelli will be on hand with music trivia & prizes. Featured performances include Tom Buongiorno with a Neil Diamond salute, Dale Mosher with a tribute to Italian singers, vocalist Gene Santini and Sister Act with a History of Women's Music Extravaganza.
