Rainy Day In Myrtle Beach? Go To The Movies!

Myrtle Beach is one of America's favorite vacation destinations and tourists flock here each and every year. Most Myrtle Beach vacation days are spent playing in the sand at the beach, swimming in the ocean, enjoying a water park and other outdoor activities. On rainy days, one of the favorite ways for beach-goers to get out of their hotel suite or condo rental and be entertained is to go to the movies.

Family Resort Vacation Deals
Even though you may have found a great deal on a Myrtle Beach hotel room, you won't want to spend a whole day there just because it's raining outside. The movies are a great indoor activity and can be fun for the whole family. It doesn't matter if your whole group wants to see the same movie, or go their separate ways and see different movies, there is usually something for everyone.

Here are a few theaters in the Myrtle Beach area:

Carmike Broadway 16
If you are spending your day at Broadway at the Beach and the sky turns dark, make your way over to Carmike Broadway 16 and let the storm pass while you enjoy a great movie. This theater has 16 screens showing the newest releases. This theater is also close to those staying in downtown Myrtle Beach.

Cinemark at Myrtle Beach
Rainy days at the beach can also be spent shopping at malls like Coastal Grand. Coastal Grand Mall also has a movie theater attached to the food court. When you are beating the storm by spending a day at the mall, you should also take the time to stop in this wonderful theater and catch some of the newest movies, some of which are offered in 3D!

Grand 14 at Market Common
The Market Common is another great shopping destination in Myrtle Beach, but since you will be walking outside from store to store, you will certainly need a place to stay dry in a storm. Grand 14 at The Market Common is the perfect place to spend a few rainy hours while the storm passes.

Carmike Colonial 12
Those staying in North Myrtle Beach will want to go to Carmike Colonial 12 to catch a flick. This theater is considered by some of the locals to be the best around because it is well maintained and rarely is it overcrowded. Tucked away in the shopping center by Bass Pro Shops and Wal-Mart, Carmike Colonial 12 is great for those on the northern end of the Grand Strand to stay inside and see a great movie.

Don't let a rainy day spoil your vacation in Myrtle Beach. Enjoy it by bringing your whole group out to the movies. This can be a great experience for everyone and the movie will give you all something to talk about for the rest of your vacation.
