A new PGA TOUR event, The Myrtle Beach Classic, will debut May 9-12, 2024. The Myrtle Beach Classic will be the first PGA TOUR event ever held in the "Golf Capital of the World", Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The tournament will be held at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club located at 9000 North Ocean Boulevard, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572.
Sponsored by Visit Myrtle Beach, The Myrtle Beach Classic is the first major professional golf tournament to take place along South Carolina's Grand Strand in more than two decades.
The Dunes Golf and Beach Club is a championship golf course known for its scenic beauty and location along the Atlantic Ocean coastline. The Dunes Golf and Beach Club acclaimed 18-hole course is consistently ranked among the Top 100 courses in the country. The Robert Trent Jones designed course was incorporated in 1948 and has hosted many high profile events over the years, including PGA TOUR Champions, USGA, Collegiate, and men's and women's State amateur competitions.
The course will be closed to the public on Monday and Tuesday. Gates will open to spectators at 6:30 am Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, gates will open at 7 am.
