Nestled on 310 oceanfront acres approximately 4 miles south of downtown Myrtle Beach, Ocean Lakes Family Campground has over 850 campsites and more than 300 vacation rental properties. The largest campground on the East Coast, Ocean Lakes has almost a mile of beautiful beachfront.
All 850+ campsites are pull through and most accommodate campers up to 40 ft with slide outs on both sides (some larger sites accommodate 45 ft RVs) and 2 vehicles. All sites have water & sewer, 20-30-50 amp electric, cable TV, phone jack, daily trash pickup and a picnic table. Almost 600 sites have a 45 ft by 18 ft concrete pad. Wi-Fi is available at all transient campsites. Tents welcome on all sites.
If you don't have a camper, but you still want to enjoy everything a Myrtle Beach campground has to offer, you can stay in one of almost 300 vacation rental sites. A variety of rentals are available to choose from including 1 or 2 story beach houses (built on stilts), houses built around a trailer and double wide mobile homes. All rental properties have air-conditioning, color cable TV and a full kitchen. Rental sites are individually owned, so they vary in design and floor plan. Also rental rates vary according to location, size and site amenities.
Ocean Lakes Family Campground is loaded with amenities. In addition to almost a mile of beachfront, you will find the Sandy Harbor Family Fun Center, a 2-acre recreation complex with an Olympic size outdoor pool with a large sun deck, an indoor pool, 2 kiddie pools, the Sandy Harbor Splash Zone! (a large kiddie pool with water blaster cannons and gushing water falls), a game room, putt-putt golf course, and an indoor/outdoor cafe.
On the oceanfront you will find 2 large playgrounds as well as volleyball, shuffleboard and a basketball court.
The Camptown Center features the Sandy Mart convenience store (groceries and everything you need for a day at the beach), Sandy's Meet n' Eat (serving sandwiches, pizza and ice cream), a laundromat and more.
Ocean Lakes also has an on-site RV Sales Center (new and used) as well as an RV supply store.
