Its that time again for this years Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival. Try the best BBQ in South Carolina at the 2011 Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival Myrtle Beach's The Market Common. This years festival has it all including: world class BBQ, Watersports, Celebrities, Fireworks, Live Music and more!
First up, Friday night September 2nd will be the "anything goes" competition with $1 samples, a beer and wine garden and a wakeboarding demo on the lake at Market Commons. You will not want to miss the excitement as professional wakeboarders perform some impresive stunts in a show that the whole family will enjoy.
Saturday's festivities will feature BBQ from over 60 local and regional teams. Bring an empty stomach and you can enjoy sampling all 60 BBQ professionals. There will also be free boat rides for everyone.
Celebrity Guest will Include:
Richard Blais, winner of Top Chef: All Star will be guest barbeque judge and Blais will be on hand from 1-4pm to meet everyone.
Josh Gracin, American Idol Season 2 contestant, will headline the live entertainment starting Saturday Night at 8:00pm.
Fireworks:
Josh Gracin's performance will be followed by a Myrtle Beach Firework spectacular scheduled for 9:30 on Saturday night.
Sunday festivities will include a "Wing-off" Cooking Competition, Chicken Wing Eating Competition and a Watermelon Eating Contest for kids ages 5-15.
The Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival 2011 closing ceremony will be held on Sunday at 3pm.
