North Myrtle Beach's Music on Main
North Myrtle Beach is known as the birthplace of Carolina Beach music and for a few months each summer Main Street comes alive with a wide variety of live, musical performances. Music on Main is a great place to bring the entire family for a fun-filled evening of music, dancing, shopping and dining.
Bring a chair, kick back and enjoy performances by exciting bands including the Fantastic Shakers, Tastes Like Chicken (a rock/jazz band from Florence, SC) and The Deluge Band (a bluesy rock band from Greensboro, NC). The FREE concerts begin at 7 pm and will be held in the "horseshoe" or on a closed off section at 202 Main Street.
Oceanfront North Myrtle Beach Hotels located close to Main Street include the Ocean Drive Beach Resort (just 1 block from Main) and Avista Resort (3 and 1/2 blocks from Main).
