Broadway at the Beach's Summer Fireworks Extravaganzas feature amazing professional pyrotechnics displays over Lake Broadway every Tuesday from June through August and on Friday nights from June 20th through August 15th. Cool Summer Evenings - June 11 thru August 8

Coca-Cola Summer Nights - June 2 thru August 31
The Coca-Cola Summer Nights free entertainment series returns to Broadway at the Beach for yet another year of fun at the beach. During Coca-Cola Summer Nights you'll find strolling entertainers, living statues and free face painting in the center court. On Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday evenings Whacker Barrel, a three-man, Hillbilly, street percussion show brings their action packed, family-friendly entertainment to Broadway. On Sunday, Monday and Wednesday nights Bryan Dangerous performs two interactive comedy juggling shows at 7 pm and 9 pm. On Tuesday and Friday nights, music man Mr. Nigel returns with his interactive show that will have you clapping your hands and singing along. On Tuesday and Thursday nights, singer songwriter Maddie Hunt will be performing shows on the Hero's Harbor Stage at 7 pm and 8 pm. Youth Baseball Nationals - June 27 thru July 3
The nation's premier youth baseball travel tournament, the Youth Baseball Nationals are week-long tournaments featuring 9U-15U baseball teams. Each week, the tournament features 16-18 teams in each age division. Each team plays from 6 to 10 games. Pool play begins on Saturday morning and runs through Tuesday night. The elimination round begins on Wednesday with 1st round, 2nd round and quarter-final games. Semi-finals and all-star games for each age group will be played on Thursday followed by the championship games on Thursday night. North Myrtle Beach's Music on Main - July 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31
North Myrtle Beach is known as the birthplace of Carolina Beach music and for a few months each summer Main Street comes alive with a wide variety of live, musical performances. Music on Main is a great place to bring the entire family for a fun-filled evening of music, dancing, shopping and dining. Bring a chair, kick back and enjoy performances by exciting bands including the Fantastic Shakers, Tastes Like Chicken (a rock/jazz band from Florence, SC) and The Deluge Band (a bluesy rock band from Greensboro, NC). If you're staying on the north end, you can't beat the fireworks displays at Barefoot Landing. Spectacular fireworks shows take place every Monday night from June 2nd through August 25th. Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Fireworks - July 4, 9, 16, 23 & 30
Head down to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk & Promenade for even more exciting fireworks shows on the Grand Strand. The Boardwalk is a great place to enjoy the fireworks show from the 2nd Avenue North Pier in Myrtle Beach. You can also visit restaurants, shops, beach bars and a huge arcade while you're on the Boarwalk. Fireworks shows are scheduled for the 4th, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th. More info.

Murrells Inlet 4th of July Boat Parade - July 4
A Murrells Inlet tradition, the 4th of July Boat Parade begins at at noon from the Garden City Point. Boats, decorated for the 4th, will head from the Garden City Point over to the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk and from there they'll follow the shoreline down to the Murrells Inlet Jetty View Walk. Great spots to view the parade are from along the MarshWalk, Jetty View Walk, Belin Methodist Church, Captain Poo's Restaurant, Nance's Restaurant and the Hot Fish Club. If you'd like to enter your boat in the parade, you can register in advance at Garden City Reality, Crazy Sister or Booty's Outdoors. Advance registration will be open from June 15th through July 3rd. You can also register beginning at 8 am on the day of the parade with the committee boat at the Garden City Point. Party Favor Band at Apache Pier - July 4, 11, 18 & 25
This summer, Party Favor Band's fabulous five will perform live at the Apache Pier in Myrtle Beach (longest wooden fishing pier on the East Coast). Enjoy a spectacular ocean view plus a great, high-energy performance featuring beach music, pop, R&B, oldies and classic rock. Party Favor Band will perform on Friday nights beginning at 8 pm.

Independence Day 8K, Freedom 5K & 1 Mile Run - July 4
Come celebrate Independence Day at The Market Common along with hundreds of runners as they take part in the 5th Annual Independence Day 8K , Freedom 5K or 1 Mile Kid Run. The Independence Day 8K and Freedom 5K are scheduled to begin at 7 am in Grand Park. The 1 Mile Kid Run is scheduled for 8 am. The awards ceremony will take place at 8:15 am. Registration and packet pickup will be held at the Piggly Wiggly at The Market Common on Wednesday, July 3rd from 4 pm until 7 pm and on July 4th at the start line in Grand Park from 5:30 am until 6:50 am. Salute From The Shore - July 4
The Salute From the Shore fly over returns to Myrtle Beach with vintage aircraft flying along the coast. The planes will fly south from Cherry Grove and North Myrtle Beach down the coast past Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, Murrells Inlet, Litchfield Beach and continue all the to Hilton Head Island. Live After Five - July 4, 11, 18 & 25
Back by demand for another year, Live After Five brings live entertainment to Wild Water & Wheels water park in Surfside Beach (just minutes south of Myrtle Beach). Movies are shown on a huge, inflatable screen in Valor Park on Farrow Parkway. Concessions will be available for purchase. Neon Vibe 5K - July 5
Looking for something different to do? How about the Neon Vibe 5K? A colorful, nighttime, fluorescent glow light fun run, the Neon Vibe 5K is coming to the Myrtle Beach Speedway on July 5th. You become the canvas with fluorescent neon colors that glow under the course's UV black light glow-zones. It may be a 5k run, but most participants prefer to dance and walk their way around the course. Gates open at 7 pm and the race starts at 8:45 pm or shortly after first dark. The Myrtle Beach Caribbean Festival is an outdoor festival coming to the Myrtle Beach Speedway from 11 am until 11 pm. The festival features delicious Caribbean dishes, a car/bike show, arts & crafts, kids activities, live entertainment and fireworks. Scheduled performers include Grammy nominated artists from The Original Wailers Band, Rebel Vybez, Reggae Infinity, Lady Impress and several local acts.

Monday Night Lights on the MarshWalk - July 7, 14, 21 & 28
Starting on June 16th, Monday Night Lights on the MarshWalk returns to Murrells Inlet for the summer. The spectacular fireworks display from a barge just east of Veterans Pier begins at 9 pm. The show is promoted by seven popular creekside restaurants: Bovine's, Creek Ratz, Capt. Dave's Dockside, Dead Dog Saloon, Drunken Jack's, Wahoo's Fish House and Wicked Tuna.

Monday Star Gazers - July 7, 14, 21 & 28
On Mondays this summer, take the kids over to the Children's Museum of South Carolina for Star Gazers. Kids ages 4 and up (with an accompanying adult) can explore the planets, moon, sun and stars of space in an inflatable planetarium. Myrtle Beach Mustang Week - July 14-20
A week long event attracting hundreds of Mustang owners and lovers, Myrtle Beach Mustang Week will hold events at various Grand Strand locations. The event kicks off at 10 am on Tuesday with a Meet-n-Greet at the Palace Theatre. On Wednesday head over to the Myrtle Beach Speedway for Myrtle Beach Autocross and Speedway Fun Runs from noon until 7 pm plus an exciting Burn-Out Contest and the Wheels of Destruction Thrill Show at 8 pm. The 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords Dyno Shootout will be held on Thursday at the Myrtle Beach Mall from 9 am until noon. At noon on Thursday, head over to Hooters at 10133 North Kings Highway as we meet up (12:30 pm until 2:30 pm) and cruise to Darlington Drag Strip for Darlington Drag Night from 4 pm until 11 pm. The 10th Annual Car Show will be held on Friday at the Myrtle Beach Mall. On Saturday head over to the Myrtle Beach Mall for the East Coast's largest Mustang and SVT Cruise-In from 10 am until 6 pm. The largest father & son golf event in the world, the PGA Tour Superstore National Father & Son Team Classic is a 3-day, 54-hole competition. The tournament is open to 2-man teams composed of fathers and sons, grandfathers and grandsons, stepfathers and stepsons, fathers and sons in law or and uncles and nephews. NOPI Nationals Supershow Southeast Showdown - July 25, 26 & 27
The NOPI Nationals Supershow comes to the Myrtle Beach Speedway for the Southeast Showdown featuring a car show, car & motorcycle drag racing, drift shows, burn-out shows, hydraulic shows, an audio event and swimsuit competitions. Rick Mommsen Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament - July 26
The 7th Annual Rick Mommsen Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament will be played at Blackmoor Golf Club. The tournament begins at 1 pm on July 26th. The format is 4 person captains choice. Registration is $75 per player and includes greens & cart fees, a steak dinner and beverages. Proceeds go to Camp Hands of Hope, a weekend long bereavement camp for youth and their families. Registration ends on July 23rd and is limited to the first 144 teams. More info.

Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach Golf Tournament - July 13
Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach will hold their annual fund-raiser golf tournament on Saturday, July 26th. All golfers (men & women), no matter their skill level, are invited to play in the 2014 Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach Golf Tournament. The tournament will be played at the River Oaks Golf Plantation golf course.
