Holidays on the Boardwalk - November 29 thru December 27
When you visit Myrtle Beach during the holiday season, you can enjoy all the exciting, fun-filled events and activities taking place along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. Special events will be happening every Saturday beginning at noon. Hop aboard the Polar Express and enjoy the train ride along the Boardwalk & Promenade from noon until 4 pm on December 13, 20 & 27. Santa Claus will be strolling down the Boardwalk from noon until 4 pm on December 13, 20 & 27. Caleb the Camel will be on the Boardwalk from noon until 4 pm on November 29 as well as December 6, 13, 20 & 27. The Boardwalk will be decorated with thousands of Christmas lights. You'll enjoy live music and more including a Blue Christmas with Elvis, holiday music from The Rileys and a performance by concert violinist Atilla Mako. Festival of Trees at Ripley's Aquarium - November 7 thru December 31
Ripley's Aquarium in Myrtle Beach is celebrating the heritage and diversity of the United States with the Festival of Trees. Each of the fifty states is represented with a tree beautifully adorned with decorations and ornaments.

The Carolina Opry Christmas Show - November 1 through January 4
Once again, the Carolina Opry Christmas Special is the Best Holiday Show in Myrtle Beach! Come see the original Myrtle Beach Christmas show. For decades, the Holiday Show of the South at the Carolina Opry has been a holiday tradition with people returning each year to get filled with Christmas spirit. This year's new show pulls out all the stops with dazzling performances by a talented cast including familiar faces like Calvin Gilmore, Rita Gumm, Christie Templeton and Brad Long.

Nights of a Thousand Candles at Brookgreen Gardens - December 4-6, 11-13 & 18-20
During December at Brookgreen Gardens, the nights come to life with the glow of 5,500 hand-lit candles and innumerable sparkling lights. Come enjoy a warm cup of cider or coffee as you amble along the path and hear live performances of your Christmas favorites. Brookgreen Gardens was founded as a non-profit in 1931, by Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington, to preserve the native flora and fauna and display objects of art in a natural setting. Broadway at the Beach Holiday Parade - December 6
Come see Santa and kick off the Christmas Holiday Season with the Myrtle Beach Holiday Parade at Broadway at the Beach. The Holiday Parade starts near the Hard Rock Cafe at 11 am, winds around Broadway at the Beach and ends near WonderWorks.

20th Annual Broadway at the Beach Holiday Tree Lighting - December 6
Help kick off the Christmas season at the Holiday Tree Lighting at 6 pm. You'll enjoy a holiday production with amazing musical and dance performances by some of the Grand Strand's best talent from the Carolina Forest Performing Arts Academy. There will also be special performances by Legends In Concert and the Palace Theatre. The fireworks show starts at 8 pm.

Breakfast With Santa at the Hard Rock Cafe - December 6, 13 & 20
Santa is returning to the Hard Rock Cafe on December 14th for the Hard Rock's Annual Breakfast with Santa from 8 am until 9:30 am. The cost is $9.95 per person and includes a full breakfast buffet and your picture with Santa. There will also be fun-filled activities for the kids. 11th Annual Christmas Child Golf Tournament - December 20
Once again, Mystical Golf brings the Christmas Child Golf Tournament back to the Grand Strand. The Captain's Choice tournament will played on The Wizard and Man-O-War golf courses. The cost is $65 per player (price includes lunch). All event proceeds directly benefit children in need at special care facilities. Beach Ball Classic - December 26-31
A popular Grand Strand tradition that began in 1981, the Beach Ball Classic is an exciting week of high school basketball in Myrtle Beach, SC. The tournament will be held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and features 16 teams competing in more than 30 games from Thursday, December 26th through Tuesday, December 31st. La Belle Amie Yuletide Bonfire - December 27
Grab a lawn chair and bring a few good friends over to the La Belle Amie Vineyard for the Yuletide Bonfire. Enjoy music by the Stringwood Band as you relax around a roaring fire. New Year's Eve Party in the Square - December 31
Ring in the New Year at Broadway at the Beach! An exciting, fireworks extravaganza will light up the sky over Lake Broadway beginning at 8 pm. A live DJ will keep the party going in Celebrity Square from 8 pm until 11 pm. Tickets are $35 per person and include admission to Crocodile Rocks, Rodeo Bar & Grill, Revolutions and Senor Frogs. Drop in for their midnight celebrations.

Celebrations Nitelife New Year's Eve Celebration - December 31
Celebrations Nitelife will be ringing in the New Year at Broadway Louie's, Club Boca, Froggy Bottomz and Malibu's Surf Bar. Tickets are $25 per person and include admission to all 4 beach clubs. Doors open at 7 pm. At Froggy Bottomz, you'll enjoy live music with Diversity. At Malibu's Surf Bar, DJ BZ spins out the dance hits. At Club Boca, DJ Joey will have the place bouncing. At Broadway Louie's, Broadway Jake will be hosting an exciting & wild karaoke show. There will be confetti cannons and a complimentary champagne toast when the clock strikes midnight. On New Year's Eve at the Dead Dog Saloon, you can enjoy a a delicious three-course dinner plus live music. The Mullets perform live beginning at 9 pm. The 1st course includes your choice of house salad, caesar salad, spinach salad, she crab soup or New England Clam chowder. Southern Times Square at The Market Common - December 31
Enjoy a Southern Times Square celebration at The Market Common featuring live music, a golf cart parade, carriage rides, face painting, flame dancers, stilt walkers, magicians and a Times Square feed. The event is free and festivities will be in front of Grand 14. Howard, Reed, Farrow and Hackler will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning at 7 pm. Vendors will be on hand serving concessions and drinks.

New Year's Eve Celebration at Margaritaville - December 31
Ring in the New Year at Margaritaville in Myrtle Beach. The party kicks off at 9 pm and features live music with the Necessary Band. Admission is $15 or $5 if you purchase a New Year's Eve t-shirt in the retail shop. The cost includes party favors and a Margarita Toast with confetti at midnight. Kids are welcome at the event.

New Year's Eve Stroll By Candlelight - December 31
Get your New Year's Eve celebration started with a candlelight stroll at Brookgreen Gardens from 6 pm until 9 pm. Visit the sculpture garden and enjoy strolling musicians, hand-lit candles and holiday lights. Limited availability, advance ticket sales only. The cost is $20 per person or $15 for members. New Year's Eve Glow Party Sleepover - December 31 thru January 1
Looking for something to keep the kids entertained this New Year's Eve? They'll love the New Year's Eve Glow Party Sleepover at Ripley's Aquarium (for kids age 6-12). Beginning at 8 pm, Ripley's Aquarium has a myriad of activities planned including movies, music, dancing, karaoke and crafts. The kids will enjoy pizza and a non-alcoholic midnight toast with a live Times Square simulcast. The sleepover costs $69.99 per child and lasts from 8 pm on December 31st until 8 am on January 1st.
