Hot Summer Nights on the Boardwalk - June thru August
All summer long Hot Summer Nights will bring some of the most exciting FREE concerts and entertainment the Grand Strand has to offer to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. During Hot Summer Nights on the Boardwalk you'll find live bands performing on stage, magnificent Boardwalk fireworks over the ocean, street performers and kids' carnivals with face painters, caricature artists, stilt walkers, jugglers, bounce houses and more. Boathouse Free Summer Concert Series - April 6 thru August 31
Once again, the popular Boathouse Summer Concert Series brings FREE live concerts to the Grand Strand on Sunday Fundays. Thousands of music lovers will head to The Boathouse on the Intracoastal Waterway. Come enjoy free concerts every Sunday all summer long! There's no cover charge and all ages are welcome! Live After Five - August 1, 8, 15 & 22
Back by demand for another year, Live After Five brings live entertainment to Wild Water & Wheels water park in Surfside Beach (just minutes south of Myrtle Beach). A live band or dance party DJs will be performing at the water park every Friday night from 5 pm until 9 pm. Visit Wild Water & Wheels Water Park this summer for exciting slides and music.

Myrtle Beach Pelicans Baseball - August 4-6, 8-10, 17-23 & 31

Craftsmen's Summer Classic Art & Craft Festival - August 2-4
The Craftsmen's Summer Classic Art & Craft Festival highlights the work of gifted artists and skilled craftsmen from around the country. Started by the Gilmore family of Greensboro, NC, the Craftsmen's Classics Art and Craft Festivals are indoor festivals that allow artisans to showcase their original works and interact with the public. Award-winning events held throughout the Southeast, the festivals feature traditional and contemporary exhibits with creative excellence and absolute originality. Admission is $8 for adults, $1 for kids age 6-12 and free for those under 6. Admission is good for all 3 days, but return admission requires a FREE return ticket that must be picked up at the show office before you leave the show. Sights & Sounds Bingo - August 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29
On Fridays, take the kids over to the Children's Museum of South Carolina for Sights & Sounds. Kids of all ages will enjoy matching the different sights and sounds every week. Party Favor Band at Apache Pier - July 4, 11, 18 & 25
This summer, Party Favor Band's fabulous five will perform live at the Apache Pier in Myrtle Beach (longest wooden fishing pier on the East Coast). Enjoy a spectacular ocean view plus a great, high-energy performance featuring beach music, pop, R&B, oldies and classic rock. Party Favor Band will perform on Friday nights beginning at 8 pm.

Sandune Archery Club 3D Tournament - August 2-3
Sandune Archery Club's 3D Archery Tournament is an exciting competition with three dimensional targets (deer, bear, turkey, etc.). Targets are sectioned off into areas with different point values. Participants are divided up and compete in categories depending on their age and skill level as well as the style of bow and extra equipment variations used. Monday Star Gazers - August 4, 11, 18 & 25
On Mondays this summer, take the kids over to the Children's Museum of South Carolina for Star Gazers. Kids ages 4 and up (with an accompanying adult) can explore the planets, moon, sun and stars of space in an inflatable planetarium. Kids can enjoy any of four Star Gazer sessions at 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm. The Children's Museum of South Carolina is located at 2204 N Oak St, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.

Monday Night Lights on the MarshWalk - August 4, 11, 18 & 25
Starting on June 16th, Monday Night Lights on the MarshWalk returns to Murrells Inlet for the summer. The spectacular fireworks display from a barge just east of Veterans Pier begins at 9 pm. The show is promoted by seven popular creekside restaurants: Bovine's, Creek Ratz, Capt. Dave's Dockside, Dead Dog Saloon, Drunken Jack's, Wahoo's Fish House and Wicked Tuna.

Wheels of Destruction - August 6 & 20
Wheels of Destruction is a thrilling, family-friendly show with amazing stunt driving, car jumps, crashes, explosions and of loads of flames. Don't miss the action packed, death defying stunts. Check out all the amazing action in this Wheels of Destruction video.

Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Fireworks - August 6, 13, 20 & 30
Head down to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk & Promenade for even more exciting fireworks shows on the Grand Strand. The Boardwalk is a great place to enjoy the fireworks show from the 2nd Avenue North Pier in Myrtle Beach. You can also visit restaurants, shops, beach bars and a huge arcade while you're on the Boardwalk. Fireworks shows are scheduled for the 6th, 13th, 20th and 30th. More info.

Family Dive In Movie Nights - August 6 & 13
All summer long you can head over to Myrtle Waves, in the heart of Myrtle Beach, for Family Dive in Move Nights. The fun begins on Wednesdays at 4 pm. Admission is $11.99 per person.

Music in the Streets at The Market Common - August 6, 13, 20 & 27
Music in the Streets comes to The Market Common on Wednesday nights throughout the summer (June-August). The event features live music in the gazebos plus face painting for the kids. You can also enjoy fabulous dining and shopping at The Market Common's restaurants and shops.

North Myrtle Beach's Music on Main - August 7, 14, 21 & 28
North Myrtle Beach is known as the birthplace of Carolina Beach music and for a few months each summer Main Street comes alive with a wide variety of live, musical performances. Music on Main is a great place to bring the entire family for a fun-filled evening of music, dancing, shopping and dining. Bring a chair, kick back and enjoy performances by exciting bands including the Fantastic Shakers, Tastes Like Chicken (a rock/jazz band from Florence, SC) and The Deluge Band (a bluesy rock band from Greensboro, NC). The FREE concerts begin at 7 pm and will be held in the "horseshoe" or on a closed off section at 202 Main Street. Summer Bike Nights - August 7
Summer Bike Nights are coming to the Myrtle Beach Harley-Davidson on July 17th and August 7th! Hop on your bikes and head down to the Myrtle Beach Harley-Davidson for exciting live music, good food and prizes. Bike Nights also feature the People's Choice Bike Show. Winners receive a Myrtle Beach Harley-Davidson prize package valued at $100 and advance to the final competition at the Best of the Bikes Bike Show on August 16th to compete for a top prize of $500. Looking for an inexpensive night out for the family? How about FREE movies? This summer The Market Common hosts Movies Under the Stars every Friday night at dusk (June, July & August). Movies are shown on a huge, inflatable screen in Valor Park on Farrow Parkway. Concessions will be available for purchase. Don't forget to bring a blanket or chairs (and just in case bring bug spray). Movies are subject to change.

Sounds of Summer Concert Series - August 15

National Sculpture Society 81st Annual Awards Exhibition - August 16 thru November 2
For the 14th consecutive year, the National Sculpture Society presents their annual juried exhibition at Brookgreen Gardens. The 81st Annual Awards Exhibition displays figurative works from 48 contemporary sculptors. The exhibition features a wide variety of subject matter and media including busts of Charles Dickens & Amelia Earhart as well as a myriad of animal and human figurines. The exhibit will be on view daily 9:30 am until 5 pm and is free with garden admission. Don't forget to cast your vote for the People's Choice Award. The winner will be announced at the end of the exhibition.

World Am Championship
World Amateur Handicap Championship

The World Amateur Handicap Championship attracts golfers from all over the country to compete in an intense 72 hole golf tournament. The World-Am offers golf by day and parties and live entertainment at night. Anyone with a certified USGA handicap, no matter their skill level, is invited to join this fun filled event that's as much fun to watch as it is to play! The tournament is played on around 60 Myrtle Beach area golf courses. Beach, Boogie and BBQ Festival - August 29-30
Kick off Labor Day weekend at the 9th Annual Beach, Boogie and BBQ Festival!
