This free festival is a great way to end the summer! The annual Beach Boogie and BBQ Festival in Myrtle Beach takes place Friday, September 2 from 6:30-10pm and Saturday, September 3 from 10am-10pm. The festival will feature live music, family-friendly fun and entertainment, South Carolina's official barbecue competition, food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, a kids' zone, fireworks finale Saturday night and more. The festival takes place at the former Air Force base at Grand Park located next to The Market Common.

Come celebrate the end of the summer at Surfside Beach Pier Sunday, September 4, 2011 from 9am – 9pm. The celebration will offer concessions such as hotdogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks. Bring your beach chair and head down to Surfside Beach Pier to enjoy live music by one of the Grand Strand’s most beloved bands, Tru Sol from 5pm – 9pm! The evening is sure to be filled with loads of laughter, good times and dancing on the beach!

During Labor Day weekend in Myrtle Beach, Celebrity Square at Broadway at the Beach hosts street parties from 5 pm until 8 pm, offering some awesome entertainment! Walk along the street and sample foods from street vendors, have a drink inside a bar or shop for artwork put on display by local merchants and artisans. Many shops offer Super End-of Season Sales all weekend, there is a Shag Contest on Saturday and a Concert on Saturday night.
