Tanger Outlet Centers are leading a campaign to promote fitness as a vital part of our country’s future. Bring your family, friends and neighbors out for running and brand name outlet shopping at Tanger Outlets on Saturday August 28 to participate in the 2nd Annual Fit for Families 5K Run/Walk. This year, fifteen Tanger Outlet centers in eleven different states will be holding this event.
Additional sponsors include L’eggs, Hanes, Bali, Playtex, Reebok, Eddie Bauer, WBTW, WGTR 107.9, and WYNA (Bob FM). The proceeds from each $25 registration fee will benefit a charitable organization in each Tanger race location around the country (the Myrtle Beach race, in particular, will donate proceeds to Conway Medical Center).The first 350 pre-registered participants will receive a race pack that includes a commemorative race t-shirt, Tanger shopping discounts and other amenities, and race finishers will receive a medal. Division winners as well as the top 3 male and the top 3 female winners will be awarded various prizes provided by Reebok.
