Horry County Museum - The museum
was created to collect and preserve material related to the history
and culture of Horry County. Changing exhibits display local, regional
and national art as well as animal exhibits, models, pictures, and
artifacts from the 1700's. Located in downtown Conway, South Carolina.

Rice Museum - From the earliest
settlement until the beginning of the l900's, rice dominated life
in Georgetown County. In the 1840's the region grew almost 1/2 of
all rice produced in the US. Through maps, dioramas, artifacts,
and exhibits, visitors explore one of the most colorful periods
in the history of American agriculture. The Rice Museum is located
in the Old Market Building, the first building in Georgetown to
be listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
